Located in the historical centre of Leiden, this 17th century property is packed with interesting details narrating centuries of history. There was a wish for a spacious and functional kitchen, where to prepare meals, talk the day trough, invite family and friends.

A preference for a more traditional look in combination with modern features. The custom made Dekton worktop provides a lot of preparation space. The Aluminum backsplash adds a modern touch and is very practical to keep clean.

Since this kitchen is situated in an old patio the challenge was to work around some unusual corners and details. Custom designed items such as worktop, backsplash, shelving and the insert are key to this design.
